About CEWQO2019


The Central European Workshop on Quantum Optics is an annual meeting, each year hosted in a different European country. The aim of this conference series is to gather scientists interested in quantum optics and quantum information science. The 26th Central European Workshop on Quantum Optics (CEWQO2019) is organized by the research group for Integrated Quantum Optics at the Paderborn University in Germany.



Paderborn University


The Paderborn University, the university for the information society, was founded in 1972. Covering a broad spectrum, ranging from natural sciences to the arts and humanities, information sciences and their applications are investigated interdisciplinarily. Five faculties offer 63 degree programs at bachelor and master level. The main campus is located in the south of Paderborn. With more than 20 000 students and 260 professorships, the Paderborn University offers an excellent atmosphere for research and academic studies. The Physics Department, counting 13 groups in experimental and theoretical physics, offers a broad range of research, focused on optoelectronics, photonics, and materials science.
