InfexBA is a cooperative project of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) that ran from 07/01/2008 to 12/31/2010.
The aim of the project was to develop Information Extraction (IE) technologies for business applications and to make these technologies available in powerful software components, in order to automatically solve the following problems:
Cooperation of science and industry is essential for achieving these goals. Thus, two IT companies participated in this project, namely Resolto Informatik and Digital Collections, as well as two universities, the Bauhaus University of Weimar and the s-lab – Software Quality Lab of the University of Paderborn.
