​Students are expected to have a solid knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. Some basic knowledge of labor economics is helpful, but no prerequisite​.

Inhalte (short description):

The labor market is an important part of everyone's life. The course introduces students to recent topics in labor economics at an advanced level. In doing so, we will focus both on the theory and the empirics, paying particular attention to the challenges (and the suggested solutions) that arise when taking the theoretical predictions to data.
