​Students are expected to have a solid (undergraduate-level) knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. Some basic knowledge of international trade is helpful, but no prerequisite.

Inhalte (short description):

​

The course is concerned with the economic exchange between countries, with a particular focus on their trade patterns. Students are introduced to key theories and empirical approaches at an advanced level. We will also relate the topics covered in the course to recent events that have affected the world economy.
