Inhalte (short description): |

The module offers students a practice-oriented introduction to the entrepreneurial process. At the core is (1) the business simulation game TOPSIM and a (2) Find-your-idea Workshop, in which teams simulate starting a business. (1) Key topics of TOPSIM include: Upon successful completion of the module, students will be able to: (2) In the Find-your-Idea Workshop students use various methods from Design Thinking, Lean-Start-up, and Value proporsition canvas. They embark on this process together, challenging their creativity. They take the first step toward idea generation and explore numerous new opportunities. In this workshop, students experience a new work culture based on empathy, playful experimentation, and a problem-oriented mindset. Through a combination of brief inputs, hands-on exercises, and mutual feedback, they immerse themselves in the agile working world. (3) Coaching: You arrange individual appointments with our start-up coaches to further develop your tart up idea. |

The course takes place in cooperation with the TH OWL and start-up coaches (TecUP/garage33).
The business simulation game TOPSIM will take place on following dates: One day will take place at the TH OWL. We will travel together to the TH OWL in Lemgo.
The Find-your-Idea-Workshop will take place at the garage33. You can choose one of the following dates: (14:00-18:00 h)
Please note, that for registration a short letter of motivation (3-5 sentences) is required. Please send it to lorena.stelzer@uni-paderborn.de. The language of the course is English and the number of participants is restricted to 20 students. Please check the lists provided by the faculty online.
