Empfohlene Voraussetzungen (prerequisites):

​The prerequisite is an own start-up project that is being supervised by TECUP/ garage33. Or a start-up idea that is approved by the TECUP/ garage33 coaches before the module starts. Before applying it is required to submit the confirming by a TECUP/ garage33 coach by a certificate.

Inhalte (short description):

​​​​​​​​​​The course takes place in cooperation with the TH OWL (Prof. Dr. Andreas Welling, Prof. Dr. Daniel Hunold; Tosca Albrecht) and start-up coaches (TECUP/garage33).

The course includes the following contents:
- The lean start-up method

- Disruption as a "game changer"
- Evaluation of customer needs by setting up and testing hypotheses through quantitative and qualitative surveys and target group analyses
- Definition of target groups
- Examination of the problem-solution fit
- Determining market potential and market research
- Competition analysis
- Value proposition canvas
- Creating a landing page and MVPs
- Communication of own ideas ​
- Analysis and discussion of other ideas
- Agile project management (Scrum, OKRs) ​​

​… will be able to develop a business idea according to the lean start-up method, identify customer needs and define target groups to evaluate and validate hypothesis, particularly value propositions.

​… learn how to develop a start-up according to the lean start-up method and recognize the importance of disruptive innovations. They acquire the ability to identify customer needs, define target groups and translate their assumptions into falsifiable business model hypotheses. They evaluate their own assumptions using empirical methods in order to check whether the problem-solution fit has been achieved.
