They start by searching, understanding, and summarizing (theoretical and empirical) studies from leading HRM & leadership journals to develop a literature base with respect to the questions that they aim to answer. Through various presentation and feedback rounds, they develop a management summary for decision makers in practice that informs about the core theory as well as empirical methods and results, through which practical implications and recommendations are derived.
