Inhalte (short description):
Im zweitägigen Prototype your PhD lernst du, wie aus einem Promotionsthema ein Start-up entsteht. Auf der Grundlage von Innovationsmethoden wie Rapid Prototyping und Lean Startup wirst du in Projektteams die ersten Schritte einer Startup-Entwicklung durchlaufen und ein erstes Geschäftsmodell erstellen, das du anschließend vor einer hochkarätigen Jury pitchen wirst. Wenn du möchtest, kannst du während oder nach Abschluss deiner Promotion mit deiner Start-up Entwicklung durchstarten und wir unterstützen dich bei der Bewerbung um Stipendien. Nutze die Gelegenheit, um dich mit anderen Wissenschaftler:innen auszutauschen, wie aus Promotionsvorhaben Geschäftsideen entstehen können. Zudem trittst du mit erfolgreichen Gründer:innen aus der Forschung in Kontakt und lernst ihren Weg zum Start-up kennen. ----- In the two-day Prototype your PhD you will learn how a startup is developed from a PhD topic. Based on innovation methods such as rapid prototyping and lean startup, you will work in project teams through the first steps of startup development and create an initial business model, which you will then pitch to a top-class jury. If you wish, you can start your startup development during or after completing your PhD and we will support you in applying for scholarships. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with other scientists on how business ideas can be developed from PhD projects. In addition, you will get in touch with successful founders from the research community and learn about their way to a start-up.
