Inhalte (short description):

This module contains the completion of an independent project work with a specific regional focus on Asia in line with scientific standards. An intense inquiry and analysis of the specific issues and characteristics of the region as well as the search for and discussion of suitable solutions are involved. This project work is a study process that lasts from the beginning until the end of the ASBE program (phase 1-3).

The participants of the DAAD-ISAP-Program and the ASBE program of the Faculty are required to take part in this module.

The module intends to promote the development of the participants‘ competences in an international context. The skills are gained through conducting an individual scientific work on a topic, which refers to their study majors and is also linked to a current question or problem in the respective Asian host country. Moreover regional-specific knowledge and communicative skills are obtained and developed through analyzing specific questions/problems and local characteristics, as well as through identifying solution strategies and reflecting on the entire working process. After the completion and documentation of the written paper, students are required to present the processes and findings of their individual studies to both the current and the successive ASBE participants in the form of a research and discussion seminar. It is assumed that students will gain a broader impression of various business and economic topics in Asia.
