The workload of the seminar includes writing a scientific paper (12 pages max.) and holding a presentation on the results from the fields of the economics of individual behavior. Students will have to economically analyse a relevant research question by the means of theoretical models and empirical evidence. The topics encompass a wide array of research covering the economics of individual behavior in organizations and can be extended to topics of own interest in the respective field. Reseach questions might deal with: individual behavior in every day life (e.g. gender differences, peer effects, corruption etc.) and under extreme conditions (e.g. in wars and in prison). |
