Inhalte (short description):
This is a reduced version of module W3411. Only an exercise course will take place. Lecture slides will be provided but not explained.
The course selects episodes in historic economic development, describes conditions and facts and explains directions and controversies of economic thinking at that particular time. Further, selected episodes will be used as examples for applying economic theories to the described historic events. In particular, the theories studied in the first year introductory course are recapitulated and applied to the historic real world episodes.
