Inhalte (short description):

This course introduces students to basic concepts related to electronic exchanges and information related to these exchanges. Such information includes transactional data (such as orders and trades) and news. The course will also cover how to analyze the impact of news on a market with a focus on financial markets. In addition to the methodology required to analyze such data, students will also be introduced to various software tools that support such an analysis.

The course is offered by our guest lecturer Prof. Fethi Rabhi (UNSW, Syndey, Australia).
