Inhalte (short description):

This seminar provides an advanced introduction to key questions and challenges in the field of Digital Responsibility. Students explore how digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, data-driven systems, digital platforms, and automation are transforming work, organisations, and labour markets in the light of current societal challenges.

Students independently work on a current topic at the intersection of Digital Responsibility and the Future of Work. Based on scientific literature and selected empirical or practical examples, students analyse developments in the digital transformation of work and critically reflect on opportunities, risks, and governance approaches.

The seminar begins with a kickoff meeting at the beginning of the semester. During this session, the seminar structure, potential topics, and relevant literature are introduced. Students select their individual topic and begin their independent research.

In the middle of the semester, students present the current status of their work in an interim presentation. This presentation provides an opportunity to discuss preliminary findings, receive feedback, and further refine the research focus and structure of the final paper.

At the end of the semester, students present the results of their work in a final presentation. Additionally, students will submit a written seminar paper at the end of the lecture period, which builds on the presentation and the independent research conducted during the semester.
