Inhalte (short description):

This seminar offers an introduction to the evaluation of different approaches in the field of cyber security. Students will present and discuss selected examples in which innovative technologies and strategies have been successfully used to improve IT security. In addition, they will learn to analyse and evaluate whether and why certain security measures and digital innovations are effective or fail in practice.
The kick-off meeting will take place at the beginning of the semester. During the kick-off event, the possible topics for presentations/term papers will be presented and the literature will be announced. The presentation dates are planned for the middle of the semester. The deadline for submitting the term paper is at the end of the lecture period.​

    ​​The course will be taught in English. Presentations and Seminar papers will be in English. The topics for the seminar papers will be provided by the lecturer.

    Attendance at the kick-off event is mandatory. All participants (those admitted and on the waiting list) who are unexcused absent from the first event will lose their admission and will be deregistered from the module.
