Inhalte (short description): |
---|
The reasons why some nations prosper and others suffer from poverty has been investigated by economists for several decades. The module introduces students to classic and contemporary theories of economic growth and development as well as to corresponding empirical applications. Adopting a global perspective, we focus on economic challenges of developing countries both at the macroeconomic and the microeconomic level and discuss potential policy solutions. |
