Inhalte (short description):

​The course introduces students to the financial system, and provides an overview of a financial system in a developed economy by describing its main components. The course explains the role of a financial system in the economy, the functioning of financial markets, the main characteristics of common financial products, the valuation of financial assets, the nature and management of financial institutions, the role of central banks in the payment system and the regulation of the financial system.
