The Lippesee is a popular destination for young people in Paderborn. From the city center to the lake it’s just a 30 minute bus ride or a 15 minute car drive away. It’s a nice place to relax after a stressful day at university.
One day as if you are at the beach, holidayfeeling and sunshade inclusive, you can spend at the Salitos Beach. The Beach offers the possibility to feel the hot sand underneath your feet as well as having some ice cream, snacks or icecold drinks in the Eisklang Bistro nearby. For those of you who like to keep it a bit more sporty, you have the possibility to try out some wakeboarding or waterski. Every Wednesday students pay only 20 Euro to go for a few rounds around the lake. Wet suit and life west are included in the price. But keep in mind: Bring your student ID, otherwise you will have to pay for the full price (37 Euros).
To spend a more relaxing day at the Lippesee you can also go for Minigolf or rent a paddle boat.

Forget all about university for one afternoon and clear your head, the lippesee is a nice change to the busy life of a university student.
