1) aim of the franco-german society Paderborn:
The Franco-German Society (Deutsch-Französische Gesellschaft DFG) Paderborn was established in 1952.
They support all initiatives, who serve the franco-german understanding and promote the distribution of the French language and culture through their activities such as lectures or speeches, performances, concerts, chanson- and poem evenings, field excursions and trip. In brief meetings of all kinds.
The DFG Paderborn is keeping up various contacts to their twin town Le Mans (France).
On our homepage you will find the updated chronicle, from which you can extract the various activies, therefore the Franco-German Society Paderborns programm is geared in the first place to their members interests. Important franco-german topics are always part of the programming and competent consultants are invited to attain clarification in questions at issue or political differences.
In general the aim is to accomplish a stable basis for a peaceful togetherness in a democratic and solidary Europa. Further on another aim is to motivate german students to learn French by presenting the DFG, the French country and the necessary view on franco-german history in terms of our members possibilities in Paderborn schools. the DFG and their activies are based on their members engagement.

Our meetings take place every first tuesday of the month at 19.30 pm
unless otherwise noted on our homepage.
Attention should be paid to the venue (place)!
presentations start at 20 o´clock.
All guest are always welcome.

The Franco-german society DFG is open for all person, which are intersted in France as the German neighboring country and like to extend the franco-german freindship.
