Costs

The DFG covers all travel expenses for

Coverage of costs:

directly paid by DFG (via collective invoice) refunded later on not paid by DFG
daily allowances   x
train ticket (2nd class incl. reservation)   x
hotel incl. breakfast 3 nights Sun-Wed   extra nights
hotel extras (minibar, telephone)     x
buffet on Monday (incl. all beverages) x
conference fee     x

For other guests, of course, the DFG is not paying anything. Please take care yourself to pay all your room costs etc. directly to the hotel.

For the DFG-sponsored participants, there is a form for your travel expenses written in English downloadable here. The fee for the DPG conference is NOT covered by the DFG. The conference fee is drastically lower if you are member of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft, so it might be advantageous to become a member just for this conference and drop the membership afterwards. More information under https://www.dpg-physik.de/dpg/serv.htm.

If you would like to take more members of your group along (not paid by DFG), there is the possibility for PhDs and Diploma students to get into the "Wilhelm und Else Haereus Förderprogramm" (more information on that also under https://www.dpg-physik.de/dpg/serv.htm, click left on "WEH-Reisekosten") to get a refund for travel expenses (if they are not covered elsehow).!! The deadline for the WEH program is also the 15th of november 2004!! The hotel room can in this case also be booked via us (at the reduced DFG rate) and has then to be payed in the hotel directly for the excess persons. The same applies for the dinner buffet on monday evening. This can be booked by excess persons, but they have to pay it to the hotel directly.
