New in Germany?
Are you still struggling with the German language? Do you think Germans sometimes behave in a funny or even strange way? Do you sometimes feel lonely and miss your family and friends from home? If that is true for you, then this is for you!
We welcome you to Germany and Paderborn! We are Christians from churches in Paderborn and Christian students at the University of Paderborn. We want to help you get settled here, to get to know the German culture and find friends. Some of us have spent time abroad, too, and have enjoyed hospitality in foreign countries, but also know how lonely you can feel there.

Hospitality Program:
There are many Germans—both families and individual people—who love to invite international students and get to know them. They are more than happy to make you feel welcome in their homes—to have you over for a meal or go on an outing with you. Who knows ... you might find new friends.
Open House—International fellowship and Bible study
Are you interested in spending a nice evening with a mixed set of people from different countries? We meet every other Tuesday in the living room of a German family in Paderborn.
We have dinner together: sometimes German „Abendbrot”, sometimes Cameroonian plantain or Egyptian lentils ... and maybe you could share your favourite national dish with us some time?
Apart from food and fellowship we also take the time to read a story from the Bible. We are always happy to answer any question you have regarding the German language, culture or the Christian faith.
Sometimes we have special events, such as outings into the environs of Paderborn, board game afternoons or a barbecue in the summer.
